Hans Hemmert smile!!!!

Studio Italia Design..... you move the angle on the lamp with a magnet on the outer glass globe.. very smart!... we are currently looking for new lights for above out bar.. 6 in total.. the ones we currently have were ruined by silly real estate agents putting in bulbs that were too high of a wattage... burn out!... but the pwner of the building has agreed to let us get new lights... so.. the hunt is on!

this is fun.. not too sure about the roof and such but creating a little sleeping or study alcove.. i wish i could give credit to the people how put up the process photos but i cannot find a source.. so whoever you are.. thanks! i think this would work real well in a kids room.. but then again we are all kids at heart (or at least should be .haha).. i found this on core

Wow.. lets start with that.. ok.. this is a 'urban street concept bike' from cube... ok.. the photo and lines of it are amazing.. but.. you need to see how it all folds down into one neat little package.. it really is amazing.. integrated lights in the break levels and a break light on the rear..check out both the site, photos and the video here.. beautiful stuff!

ok ok .. enough photos jon.. fek! haha.. the girl above is the girl i love.. yup! its true! awwww
couple more randoms.. why not... for more click

these would be so beautiful hanging in our place.. maybe one day...

Ldesign so i was taking a peek at some of the stockholm furn fair reviews and came across these wonderful stools.. great solution to a few things in our place.. only prob i could see is that if you want a book out of the pile that may be a little tough.. on the other hand you could hit up the thrift stores and bring home some encyclopedias.. in any event i like the idea and i am bad at spelling

i love this chair.. both for myself and especially for a childs environment... just screams inspiration and imagination for some reason

well.. i got a job offer that was going to require us to get a 2nd car.. having no money this was going to be tough.. and i would hate to not ride my bike to work.. so i actually signed to another job that was closer and bike friendly... but i headed to ebay to check out some goodies.. and as usuall.. amazing finds.. there is something so special about older cars.. i love how compact they were (at least the ones i am interested in.. haha.. some are crazy huge!) its funny.... but there when it comes time for a 2nd i think i will defnitally be seeking out some old beaut to prolong its life.. something special about that!

Cardboard house by Super Colossal. One talented kid!! As a kid, as all kids.. i was constantly making forts out of anything i could get my hands on.. the couch cushions.. cardboard appliance boxes were the ultimate and i have no idea what came in these boxes but it is just fantastic! nice undies!

Axel Bjurström super simple.. and guess what... i like that!

Schemata Architecture Office ok.. i think the design aspect of this house is interesting.. functional? maybe... happy neighbours? maybe not. haha.. i think it would work well if it had a mirror image of it on the other side as well.. or maybe like a row of them or something.. but no the less.. interesting

funny.. and a little scary

The “Automania Set” from Frantz. YUM YUM... real fun play on chocholate (yes.. i am bad at spelling and i am ok with it.. sorry) watch you teeth!

McBride Charles Ryan [ Photo by John Gollings ] I am seriously impressed with the wild geometry that this place holds.. just crazy! Thoes Aussies sure know how to make you feel sick.. haha... beautiful stuff

erik björk.. just love bringing nature into your own home.. and this looks like the perfect opportunity for it..

jean-marie maussad beautiful lines here.. ther eis also a floor model

Stefan Sagmeister - 72000 bananas ... wow.. very fun and hopefuly used for a lot of banana loaf when the exhibit is taken down

VIP centre Schiphol Airport beautiful virta! and i love the larger than life floor lamp

Not much food has made its way on here lately and i am not sure why. if you take a peek at my photos you will find that it is a HUGE part of our everyday routine..
I have never been an extreme egg lover but andrea really loves them for breakfast so i do my best to keep her happy.. i wanted to try a few methods for the poached egg and found a real interesting one using plastic wrap.. and the outcome was great..
although i do not love eating eggs.. i will.. and they sure are fun to cook.. so many ways!

Coatlight something like this could actually work in our bathroom... so annoying but when you turn on the light.. the fan comes on.. ok.. great for showering becuase we all know we are supposed to use the fan.. but in the middle of the night when you stagger in there it is the last thing that you want.. so i have rigged up a few little options to avoid the noise.. a little click nite light by the sink outlet.. and then i put a switch light under the vanity which is enclosed with frosted glass.. nice look but just not as easy as a flick of the switch.. one day i will get the equipt out and do the rewireing but i will def be a hasstle.. untill then..

101 this lamp is made of .. yess.. coat hangers.. we have all tried this (or at least you should have by now) but i think they really pulled it off nicely.. just think of how many hangers are wasted from the drycleaners! speaking of which.. i have no 'dry clean only' clothing.. am i cool or what? ha.. no.

On Jan 25th i posted about my find on ebay... the $1.5million dollar chair for sale.. something like 60% of the 1.5 was going to go to charity and the rest was supposedly going to go into the pocket on someone who assumed that ANYONE would be dmb enough to fall for his stupidity.. so .. anyway.. last week Andrea and I decided to make our adventure to the recycling center here in savannah.. and when i say certer i mean small dirty parking lot that has a few bins for you to throw things in.. the whole process took us about a hour and it is real sad how few people make the effort to do it in this city.. curbside recycling has been a huge want here for a while.. soon enough it will be in place.. or not soon enough really.. ANYWAY...
on the ride there you have to pass through a sketchy area (to say the least) and on the porch of one of the places i saw not 1 .. but 2 of the $1.5mil chairs.. haha.. so great! I am going to be sending the photo to the seller on ebay.. i hope he offers these people $3mil for them! ha..
the photos from our recycling adventure can be found....

Recycling adventure in Savannah

We are in despirate need of a book storage system that not only allows them to be seen but also easily accessed.... right now we have unsturdy tower of books going on.. colour cordinated and it is fun to look at.. but if i want that book near the bottom.. JENGA!! scary situation to say the least.. we have some big ones lurking up there that could do some damage! So in any event I have trying to come up with solutions to this little problem.. i like the looks of this book case and it seems to have levels so that you are not stuck with the jenga problem.. nice work

For some reason I am extremely attracted to this lamp... I think it may be the modern meets classic feel it has? Or there is definitely a hand made quality about this as well! The red cord adds a little needed flash to it. Wounderful product! Simple and fun.

what i find facinating about this piece is how the cord that i spend so much time trying to hide or eliminate is used in the design and almost exemplified and decorative.. one of thoes if you cant beat them join them type things.. ha.. I really do like the effect of the excaping light rays in between the cords.. I have tried this a few times with thin wire over the bare bulb.. and it takes a lot of wire! So the thickness and opaqueness of the cord is perfect.. yesir
